Why You Should Tag Your Photographer!

Tagging your photographer is important for several reasons:

1. Credit: Tagging your photographer gives them credit for their work. It acknowledges their contribution to the project and helps them gain exposure. A lot of hours goes into the final product, before and after the session. We want the world to know that is OUR work you’re showing off.

2. Networking: Tagging your photographer can help you build a relationship with them. This can lead to future collaborations and opportunities.

3. Promotion: Tagging your photographer can help promote their work to your followers. This can help them gain more exposure and potentially lead to more business. My business is my full time job and only course of income. Allowing others to recognize my work could lead to just a single additional follower, that could lead to a share, which can lead to an inquiry, and then a booking. If nobody knows the business exists, how can we continue to run it and provide your with your photos? We can’t.

4. Professionalism: Tagging your photographer shows that you are professional and appreciate their work. It also shows that you value their contribution to the project.

5. Support. Showing support will lead to a great relationship, and if many photographers are like me, I tend to give extra time, photos, or discounts to those who like, share, and tag me or are loyal return clients.

Overall, tagging your photographer is a simple way to show appreciation for their work and build a professional relationship with them.
